Summary

**THE SUNDAY TIMES BESTSELLER**

Gypsy Queen to the Gypsy King, Tyson Fury's wife Paris reveals the magical highs and epic lows of life with the Heavyweight Boxing World Champion, as she shares their life story and what keeps them strong through the good times - and the bad。

Paris Fury is Tyson's rock, the wife he thanks for all his success。 Both from Traveller families, she married him at 19 and is hands-on mother to their six children, as well as at his side through every fight。 Always glamorous, strong, grounded, and her own woman。

When Tyson's struggles with depression, OCD and alcohol have threatened to overwhelm them, she has held them together, and helped to see Tyson through to the greatest boxing victories。

With all her warmth, humour and honesty, she tells her story - from her Traveller childhood, falling in love, making a home and a family, to coming through Tyson's darkest moments。 She vividly describes the anguish of their worst times, and what it's like to be at the ringside。 And she shows what it takes to balance the fame, the fans and all the sporting pressures alongside everyday family life。

I really enjoyed this book 。 I love a good biography and Paris ‘s story was interesting。 She’s extremely likeable!

I actually really enjoyed this。 As a massive boxing fan - and as Paris suggests in the book - I picked this up to see some insight into the other half of Tyson Fury’s world。 In fairness, Paris comes across as an incredible woman。 For the most part, single handedly keeping their family together and on the right track。A thoroughly interesting read if you are interested in boxing, the Fury’s or even gypsy life。I would recommend。

Couldn't put this book down!I loved this book。 I've always been a fan of Paris but I like her even more now after reading her boom。 She comes across as so grounded and despite the wealthy lifestyle she seems to still very much appreciate all she has。 I thought she came across really well and just a normal person! When dealing with mental health, an aspect that is usually overlooked is how it affects the loved ones and the immediate circle of the patient。 This book offers an honest look into Tyson Fury's struggle through the eyes of his wife and partner。 Very insightful and more open than the autobiography of Tyson himself。 The book details how the marraige survived an unsurvivable predicament, what she did right and more importantly what she did wrong。 How by missing the flags and by asking Tyson to man When dealing with mental health, an aspect that is usually overlooked is how it affects the loved ones and the immediate circle of the patient。 This book offers an honest look into Tyson Fury's struggle through the eyes of his wife and partner。 Very insightful and more open than the autobiography of Tyson himself。 The book details how the marraige survived an unsurvivable predicament, what she did right and more importantly what she did wrong。 How by missing the flags and by asking Tyson to man up and pull himself together she was making things worse for him, and how by feeling ashamed and deciding not to talk to anyone she was making it much harder for herself。 Tyson Fury's descend to the bottom of alchol and drug addictions followed by his rise and reclaiming the heavyweight title is one of the most inspiring stories in sport's history。 A modern day fairytale of love, faith, and resurrection。 。。。more

I enjoyed this book, not sure she was entirely truthful in it but I liked the behind the scenes access it gave。 They are very down to earth people who live how they want to live which is refreshing to see。 Most importantly the book dealt with the incredible highs and lows of living with someone with mental illness, that can go either way, Paris chose to stay, it takes strength and courage to do this, she documents that well in the book, you can see her aim is to keep the family together。 I like I enjoyed this book, not sure she was entirely truthful in it but I liked the behind the scenes access it gave。 They are very down to earth people who live how they want to live which is refreshing to see。 Most importantly the book dealt with the incredible highs and lows of living with someone with mental illness, that can go either way, Paris chose to stay, it takes strength and courage to do this, she documents that well in the book, you can see her aim is to keep the family together。 I like her and her unassuming ways。 。。。more

I am a fan of Tyson Fury。 He has done so much to revive boxing and you just have to love his craziness。 The fact that he is probably one of the most skilled boxers at Heavyweight the world has seen in some time doesn't hurt either。 That said, I was intrigued to learn more about the man via the woman behind the man。 Paris Fury。 I can honestly say this was a great purchase and the story and reading of it by Paris was fantastic。Paris Fury lays out an excellent story about her own life and how it me I am a fan of Tyson Fury。 He has done so much to revive boxing and you just have to love his craziness。 The fact that he is probably one of the most skilled boxers at Heavyweight the world has seen in some time doesn't hurt either。 That said, I was intrigued to learn more about the man via the woman behind the man。 Paris Fury。 I can honestly say this was a great purchase and the story and reading of it by Paris was fantastic。Paris Fury lays out an excellent story about her own life and how it merged in with Tyson's。 You learn a bit about the Traveler/Gypsy world and get insight in to the highs and lows and then even greater highs of her life with the Gypsy King。 All told in a very laid back manner that was completely engaging。I definitely recommend this work either as a book and definitely as an Audible to anyone wanting a feel good story about a very down to earth person who coped with the lows of dealing with a loved one suffering from Mental Illness and putting family first to see it through。 Great work Paris! 。。。more

Heart warming relatable outstanding read This book is a warts and all book。 Love the fact money hasn't changed Paris she's still a full time housewife with the same problems we all have。 I like she's not hanging off her husband or slagging off anyone。 In fact she doesn't have a bad word to say about anyone。 Her life is so relatable and I found myself nodding along throughout her marriage ups and downs。 I love her morals and passion she's a breath of fresh air and this book was exactly that a fre Heart warming relatable outstanding read This book is a warts and all book。 Love the fact money hasn't changed Paris she's still a full time housewife with the same problems we all have。 I like she's not hanging off her husband or slagging off anyone。 In fact she doesn't have a bad word to say about anyone。 Her life is so relatable and I found myself nodding along throughout her marriage ups and downs。 I love her morals and passion she's a breath of fresh air and this book was exactly that a fresh read of someone who shows money can't buy you happiness and love that you need to make yourself。 Well done Paris 。。。more

Lovely book with a great family vibe running throughout。Paris has presented her story, warts and all in an honest and open way making no apologies (quite rightly) for her beliefs and chosen way of life。 I would imagine a lot of women can take inspiration from her beliefs and traditions and the fact that she has been through so much and survived for one so young。 Thoroughly enjoyable read。

This was another great biography。 I have followed Tyson Fury for the last couple of years, after reading his books and watching their documentary in 2020 and at first had judged him as someone I wasn't interested in but when I read his books my opinion changed, and even more so when I saw his documentary。 I realised that no matter how much money and fame he has, he still has his own issues and is still very down to earth。 This was Paris' side of the story, and about her life with Tyson and his m This was another great biography。 I have followed Tyson Fury for the last couple of years, after reading his books and watching their documentary in 2020 and at first had judged him as someone I wasn't interested in but when I read his books my opinion changed, and even more so when I saw his documentary。 I realised that no matter how much money and fame he has, he still has his own issues and is still very down to earth。 This was Paris' side of the story, and about her life with Tyson and his mental health issues。 It covered a lot of things I already knew about from reading his books and watching his documentary but it was lovely to read things from her perspective。 Sticking by him in the tough times when he was drinking too much, and even taking drugs, and still managing to bring up all their children almost single handedly sometimes, I take my hat off to her。 It's lovely to see her support and dedication to her husband which is often rare now in some marriages, when the going gets tough, many people give up and walk away and it was lovely that this hasn't happened for this lovely couple, despite what the media may say。 As a family they know they can be judged because of their traveller background but they don't let that get them down, they ignore the taunts they are sometimes faced with and they carry on as normal。 No airs and graces despite their wealth and OK they have a big house, and nice cars and clothes, but I am sure we all would if we had such a large family and plenty of money, I am sure we would all treat ourselves in that manner with that kind of lifestyle of work hard all the time。 A lovely read, well done Paris! 。。。more
